We would like to inform you that there has been a recent attempt to impersonate one of our journals. One of our authors received a fake certificate claiming that his article had been accepted by the editorial board of a technical university journal.

Both the author and our journal have fallen victim to fraud – the author suffered financial loss, whilst we have suffered reputational damage.

We wish to make it clear that we do not collaborate with any individuals, companies or institutions regarding assistance with the publication of articles or the collection of submissions.

We advise you to exercise particular caution should you be asked to pay any publication fees.

We would like to remind you that:

1) The only way to submit articles to our journals is by completing the form on the website of the relevant journal within the OJS system: https://ph.pollub.pl/

2) Authors receive confirmation of their submission or a decision regarding the acceptance and subsequent publication of their article by email from an address within the @pollub.pl domain, and they can check the status of their submission in the OJS system.

3) Most of our journals operate under the diamond open access model and do not charge any fees at any stage of the publication process (only the journals ACS and ASTRJ are not free of publication charges for authors; however, ASTRJ is managed outside the OJS system, and our platform only provides a link to an external website).
