Lublin R-XIII may fly again

On July 15th 2025, a letter of intent was signed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Lublin University of Technology. It regards the construction of a flying replica of the Lublin R-XIII aircraft. The Lublin Aviation Foundation, the Lublin University of Technology, and the City of Lublin will collaborate on this unique project. The signatories of the letter are the Mayor of Lublin, Dr. Krzysztof Żuk, the Vice-Rector for Digitization and Commercialization of the Lublin University of Technology, Dr. Konrad Gromaszek, President of the Lublin Aviation Foundation, Marek Gromaszek, M.Sc., Eng., and Vice President of the Lublin Aviation Foundation, retired Brigadier General Ryszard Hać, Ph.D., Eng.
