Abstract
The article discusses the issue of rubber propulsion for F1B class models. The physical and mechanical properties of rubber are presented. There are discussed the types of rubber currently available for competition purposes, with particular emphasis on TAN Super Sport rubber. There are also described the rules for preparing, binding, and winding rubber before a takeoff.
