Abstract
The article concerns a turboprop engine with a heat recovery system. It discusses the historical background, theoretical foundations, and examples of design solutions developed over the years. It presents the innovative features of a turboprop engine with heat recovery, developed and implemented in industrial production for use in ultralight aircraft. The advantages and disadvantages, practical conclusions from flight tests, and potential development opportunities for the engine presented in the article are discussed.
