Podstawowym celem tego badania jest ocena wpływu zastosowania gumy mielonej (GM) i dodatku kauczuku styrenowo-butadienowego (KSB), w zakresie od 0% do 5% wagowo w stosunku do bitumu, na wydajność mieszanki betonu asfaltowego, używając metody mokrej. Przeprowadzono eksperymenty laboratoryjne, w tym test Marshalla, aby ustalić optymalną zawartość bitumu (OZB) dla gorącej mieszanki. Badanie koncentruje się na określeniu optymalnych proporcji GM i KSB, aby osiągnąć maksymalną wytrzymałość. Wyniki pokazują, że zwiększenie proporcji zarówno GM, jak i KSB prowadzi do znaczącej poprawy wytrzymałości, z maksymalną stabilnością odnotowaną na poziomie 16,14 kN i przepływie 1,23 mm dla mieszanki zawierającej 5% GM i 4% KSB. Wnioski sugerują odwrotną zależność między zawartością GM a wytrzymałością, podczas gdy zwiększanie zawartości KSB poprawia wytrzymałość. W konsekwencji, optymalne proporcje dodatków GM i KSB są identyfikowane jako odpowiednio 5% i 4%.
