Abstract
Heat pumps have been gaining in popularity as an effective source of renewable energy for the last few years. Particularly, it is relevant to air source heat pumps. However, there is still area for improvement in raising awareness among customers and acquiring expertise among suppliers. The article presents analysis of heat pumps including theoretical assumptions, its operation, practical and economical aspects. The main objective of this article is to attract readers' attention to advantages of this source of energy as well as its bright prospects.
