Abstract
On September 17, professor Stefan Kozłowski, a scholar of great knowledge and activity, suddenly died in Krynica – a geologist by choice, famous naturalist, mountaineer, ecologist, promoter of the idea of sustainable development, social activist, author and a member of the Program Council of our magazine for many years.
