Abstract

The article contains description of the research works, aimed to present a numerical model of eddy currents induced in a simplified model of a human under influence of 50 Hz external magnetic field. In the first part of the paper the influence of electromagnetic field on the human body has been described. Then, the model used for the research has been characterized. Finally, numerical methods, mathematical description of the model, as well as numerical analysis and comparison of the results referred to the Polish and EU standards have been included in the past part of the paper.
