ENSURING THE STABILITY OF CONTACT MEASUREMENTS IN AUTOMATED CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR PRECISION GRINDING

Abstract

Control the size of the parts in the process of their processing on the grinding machine is performed using the measuring heads with a special equipment that mechanically is in contact with the surface of the control. The measurement is performed in the automatic mode that is why an important technical task is to ensure the high precision tracking of the current value of the control parameter. The causes of errors of measurement are analysed
in the article. The article analyses the practical schemes of control on operations of round grinding, and situations that may lead to the occurrence
of errors from the effects of temperature and the quality of the positioning of the measuring equipment on the control surface.
