Abstract
The presented article describes the results of a comparative analysis of methods for building applications on the Salesforce platform. The following methods were confronted with each other: object-oriented programming language Apex, Visualforce framework and Point-andclick method, which does not require writing any code. The analysis consisted in examining the performance of pages created using each method. The analyzed parameters include page load time, the amount of data that have been downloaded and the impact of the number of records displayed on the page performance.
