Detailed information

The “Journal of Technology and Exploitation in Mechanical Engineering” (JTEME) yearly has been issued since 2016. It’s a peer-reviewed, technical and scientific journal, publishing in English language, dedicated mainly to young researchers from across the world. However, everyone is kindly invited to submit their work. It is a great honour for us that the Scientific Committee includes scientists from University of Pisa (Italy), Middle East Technical University (Turkey), Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania), Riga Technical University (Latvia), Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, University of Zilina (both from Slovakia), Opole University of Technology and Lublin University of Technology (both from Poland).

JTEME was associated with the WECM’22 Workshop, organized by Lublin University of Technology in June, 2022 and the WECM'23 which was held on September, 2023 in Italy (Pisa). The conception of the workshops arose in the Polish-Italian group of scientists, cooperating in the field of experimental and computational mechanics, within the bilateral agreement between Lublin University of Technology and the University of Pisa. The 3rd edition of the workshop is going to be held on May, 2024 in Poland (Kazimierz Dolny).

Since 2018 JTEME is one of the journals recommended by MSN International Scientific Symposium "Advances in techniques of production and machine construction" organized by the Scientific Circle of Production Engineering run by the Department of Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Lublin University of Technology. While since 2019 year, JTEME journal cooperates with International Conference of Computational Methods in Engineering Science – CMES which is organized by Lublin University of Technology and cooperators.

Since the beginning, each publication has been assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number, distributed by Index Copernicus and Crossref organizations.

The editorial office of the journal does not charge submission or publication fees for the manuscripts, publishing in the open access formula, on the licence Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0 PL).

All scientific articles submitted to JTEME must be original, previously unpublished or not currently being taken into consideration by other journals. The authors are obliged to proceed according to the guidelines For authors and to the Ethical principles of the journal.

The manuscript accepted by the editorial office is reviewed by one or two independent reviewers using the single-blind peer review process. The reviewers are selected from the JTEME Scientific Committee, ensuring the articles' high substantive level. The reviewing process is described in the instructions For reviewers.

The JTEME journal is obliged to proceed according to the Ethical principles described by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All the submitted manuscripts are verified in the Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) to prevent plagiarism and duplicate publications.

The journal is published and financed by the Polish Association for Knowledge Promotion led by scientists working at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Lublin University of Technology.
