The Human-Animal Relationship in its Ecological Aspect

Abstract
This article considers declarations of animal rights in an ecological context and in relation to the application of moral principles to fauna. It does not suggest that animals should be treated as moral entities enjoying full rights, but does argue that they be considered objects of moral action for which people are responsible.
