Abstract
Tendentious and one-sided criticism of geocentrism by A.M. Bieniasz cannot undermine the successes of the geocentric paradigm confirmed by the successes of molecular biology and genetic engineering. I think, however, that perhaps A. Marek Bieniasz is currently practicing such a caricatured criticism of Dawkins’s views because in certain intellectual circles in Poland there is a great demand for the depreciation of his views. It gains applause even when it does not directly concern his ideological beliefs.
