Zrównoważony rozwój i nauka o zrównoważoności. Skąd pochodzimy, gdzie jesteśmy teraz i dokąd zmierzamy? Część I: Historia koncepcji

Abstrakt
Ta praca koncentruje się na pochodzeniu, historii i kamieniach milowych, które doprowadziły do konceptualizacji zrównoważonego rozwoju (SD). Koncepcja zrównoważonego rozwoju jest nie tylko szeroka, ale często jest używana zamiennie z bardziej ogólną (ale czasami także bardziej szczegółową) koncepcją zrównoważoności. Pojęcie SD jest analizowane w oparciu o jego rozwój i związki ze zrównoważonością oraz związane z nim koncepcje naukowe (teoretyczne) i praktyczne. Celem tej pracy jest wyjaśnienie znaczenia ZR, w tym pojęcia zrównoważonego rozwoju, i na tej podstawie wskazanie głównych dróg przybliżania się do celów ZR, w tym jakości życia i dobrostanu. Zidentyfikowano i podsumowano ograniczenia tej koncepcji, podobnie jak alternatywy dla zrównoważonego rozwoju i zrównoważoności. Przesłanką tej pracy jest nie tylko doprecyzowanie koncepcji ZR, ale także normatywna ocena tej koncepcji w odniesieniu do dobrostanu i jakości życia ludzi na Ziemi w długofalowym okresie czasu, przy zachowaniu podaży ekosystemów i ich usług świadczonych planecie, biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że zasoby te są nie tylko źródłem dobrobytu ludzi, ale są ogólnie niezbędne do przetrwania ludzkości. Dlatego niniejsza praca zawiera dogłębne rozważania koncepcji ZR w oparciu o jej historyczny rozwój, z naciskiem na najważniejsze kamienie milowe, a także oceny normatywne koncepcji wynikające z tej wiedzy.
