Aims and Scope
Journal of Computer Sciences Institute (J. Comput. Sci. Inst. – JCSI) is a peer-reviewed, international, quarterly journal published electronically in English by Lublin University of Technology.
The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for authors – both students and researchers – to publish research results and implementations related to the application of information technologies in various fields of science and engineering.
The specific objectives of JCSI are:
• To promote good academic practices among students and early-career researchers by encouraging the publication of their research and implementation work,
• To support interdisciplinarity, especially in areas where information technologies intersect with other fields of knowledge.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
• Computer science, information sciences, and communication technologies,
• Applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning,
• Programming, programming languages, software engineering, and formal methods,
• Distributed systems, IoT, edge/cloud computing, and IT security,
• Computer networks, communication systems, and networking technologies,
• Algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and systems theory,
• Human–computer interaction, UX, and user-centric systems,
• Big data processing, data mining, and data analytics,
• Cybersecurity, cryptography, and privacy protection,
• Theoretical computer science: computational logic, automata, and models of computation.
