“Protection of Cultural Heritage” is a peer-reviewed, international and multidisciplinary half-yearly journal published in English and Polish language by PKN ICOMOS and Lublin University of Technology. The articles presented in this journal concern fields (categories) of architecture and urban sciences, history, culture and religious studies and art studies. The aim of the journal is to propagate the results of the scientific discussion concerning the most significant problems of the protection and conservation of the monuments. The journal publishes in open access formula under the Creative Commons Attribution licence – CC BY 4.0 Int. (until 2023 inclusive CC BY-SA). (more)
Call for articles for new issues in 2024

Dear Sirs,
we would like to invite you to submit articles to the journal "Protecting Cultural Heritage".
Thematic issues that are planned for 2024:
- social care of monuments,
- doctrinal texts in the protection of monuments.
The journal ‘Cultural Heritage Protection’ serves to exchange ideas and experiences in the protection of cultural heritage. We publish articles introducing modern conservation methods, contemporary theories on heritage protection, interesting examples of conservation activities in Poland and abroad.
In 2023, four issues have been prepared instead of the standard two. This is due to the growing interest in publishing articles in our journal. We encourage you to read previous issues, which are available on the website.
