Odbudowa zniszczonych zabytków w Ukrainie:
Pomiędzy historyczną autentycznością a współczesnymi potrzebami środowiska miejskiego

Abstrakt
W kontekście 60. rocznicy podpisania Karty Weneckiej, niniejszy raport koncentruje się na, wykraczających poza tradycyjne metody renowacji i konserwacji, wyzwaniach i możliwościach odbudowy zniszczonych zabytków w Ukrainie.
Okoliczności rozległego zniszczenia dziedzictwa kulturowego w wyniku działań wojennych w Ukrainie postawiły nas przed kluczową decyzją: jak zachować tożsamość historyczną i pamięć kulturową narodu? Przykładem tego może być miasto Charków, gdzie konserwacja ruin lub tworzenie miejsc pamięci okazuje się niemożliwe.
Niniejszy raport analizuje wyzwania związane z replikacją zabytków w kontekście miejskim Ukrainy, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zapewnienia ochrony środowiska miejskiego i tożsamości historycznej.
Uznając utratę historycznych budynków za zagrożenie, raport podkreśla konieczność znalezienia elastycznych rozwiązań. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono zachowaniu autentyczności zniszczonych obiektów przy jednoczesnym zapewnieniu ich adaptacji do nowych funkcjonalności i wymagań nowoczesnego użytkowania. Biorąc pod uwagę wyjątkowość każdego miejsca, zbadano różne podejścia, od precyzyjnej rekonstrukcji po metody bardziej interpretacyjne, które zachowują historyczną istotę miejsca, wprowadzając jednocześnie nowe elementy funkcjonalne.
Raport przedstawia dyskusje na temat moralnych i praktycznych aspektów rekonstrukcji zniszczonych obiektów, odnosząc się do współczesnej roli Karty Weneckiej na Ukrainie. Sugeruje się tu aktualizację dokumentów doktrynalnych w celu sprostania obecnym wyzwaniom miejskim. W artykule podkreślono znaczenie zrujnowanych zabytków dla tożsamości historycznej i kulturowej miast, na przykładzie ochrony dziedzictwa kulturowego w czasie wojny.
