Abstract

On the example of churches from the area of Białystok (presented in part I and II. of this cycle) an attempt of the identification of determinants of crisis of the contemporary architecture of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland and for Europe was made, in it: the impossibility of the identification, losing the religious archetype, the incorrect hierarchy, the false local archetype, the outdatedness, the ugliness, the kitsch, the randomness, the lack of the awareness and the responsibility of decision-makers, losing the being of the sacred, spatial losing.
