Detailed information

The journal “Teka Committee of the Architecture, Town Planning and Landscape Studies” has been published since 2005. Its creation is related to the activities of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Lublin Branch, and the opening of the architecture and urban sciences course at the Lublin University of Technology (in 2004). The first issues of the journal published articles on the history of architecture and the regional identity of the Lublin region. From 2015, the subject of the articles was expanded to include issues related to the regions of the whole Poland, and from 2018 to Ukraine, Belarus, Sweden, Finland, and also Peru (South America).

Presented articles concern innovative methods of creating sustainable built-up space, protection of spatial, cultural and historical values, as well as issues of landscape architecture, incl. park and garden layouts related to architectural monuments. The texts also include the subject of public space design and architecture that takes into account the needs of people with disabilities.

The journal presents the results of research conducted by the employees of the Polish Academy of Sciences and academic centers cooperating with it, incl. Universities of Technology in: Lublin, Wrocław, Cracow, Poznań and Białystok.
