Współczesne interwencje architektoniczne w historycznej zabudowie Kadyksu – kontekstualny minimalizm w służbie genius loci

Abstrakt
Dyskusje na temat współczesnego podejścia do historycznego dziedzictwa wzbudzają zazwyczaj silne emocje, rozgrywając się pomiędzy biegunowymi koncepcjami mimetycznego odtwarzania a bezpardonowej anastylozy form i materiałów. Na tym tle opisane cztery realizacje w hiszpańskim Kadyksie jawią się jako urbanistycznie bardzo udane w swym stonowanym charakterze formalnym, położeniu nacisku na funkcjonalizm i rewitalizację przestrzeni oraz wykorzystaniu koncepcji architektury transparentnej, nie wchodzącej w konflikt z historyczną, nieagresywnej, a przy tym na wskroś nowoczesnej.
