Abstrakt

Artykuł mapuje nowoczesne prądy architektoniczne, które szukały rozwiązań skoncentrowanych na planecie. Szuka architektonicznych interpretacji ruchów społecznych, wydarzeń politycznych i momentów historycznych. Poprzez analizę tekstów architektów i naukowców, bada początki architektury organicznej, wernakularnej i tropikalnej, oraz ich współczesne interpretacje w projektowaniu i myśli. Artykuł dokumentuje również zmiany sposobów postrzegania związku pomiędzy człowiekiem, naturą i architekturą. Analizę rozpoczynają pierwsze próby zrozumienia tej relacji, idealizują i zgoła romantyczne, a kończą współczesne, oparte na holistycznym podejściu i symulacjach komputerowych. Artykuł szkicuje szeroką panoramę autorów i pozycji, które badały architekturę skupioną na planecie.
