Abstract

The preparation and execution of laboratory tests for analysis of influence of operational damage in the main structural member of facade scaffolding bearing frame on the frame capacity are presented in this paper. Virtually unavoidable presence of defects demands reduction of the material strength in comparison to the theoretical one. Numerical analysis has been preceded by author’s own laboratory tests which allow to description in detail the behavior of scaffolding member.
