“New” identity in a city space

Abstract

Finding and classifying the factors that determine the identity of a city influences the feeling of the emotional bond between inhabitants and a city in the period of the widespread globalization processes. The inhabitants’ social awareness of preserving the cultural heritage together with the contemporarily necessary development of a city and transformations of its structures allow the creative solutions for “new” identity in a city space to come into existence.
