Abstract

In the paper, the rules of dimensioning reinforced concrete chimneys according to the Polish code PN-88/B-03004 and the European code PN-EN 13084 were presented. In particular, the rules which are different were described. The example of the reinforced concrete chimney was designed on the basis of two mentioned codes. The results of calculations were presented and compared.
