Artykuł koncentruje się na badaniu właściwości termicznych drewna sosnowego, materiału tradycyjnie używanego w budownictwie, szczególnie w Polsce. Z uwagi na niewystarczającą ilość danych w literaturze na temat przewodności cieplnej drewna sosnowego, przeprowadzono szczegółowe badania uwzględniające różne gęstości drewna. Sezonowane próbki drewna poddano różnym procesom i testom, mierząc współczynnik przewodzenia ciepła w różnych warunkach. Wyniki te są istotne w kontekście zrównoważonego budownictwa i będą pomocne w dalszych badaniach nad drewnem jako materiałem budowlanym. Badania uwzględniały również wpływ temperatury i wilgotności na właściwości termiczne drewna, co jest kluczowe dla jego zastosowania w różnych warunkach środowiskowych.
