Abstract

The article presents the possible employment of multiple criteria optimisation methods in the process of evaluating the risk of damage to engineering facilities as a result of terrorist attacks. The subject of the analyses covered selected bridge facilities in the area of Wrocław. The article presents the atypical application of two selected optimisation methods, i.e. the AHP method and the Bellinger’s method. The benefit of the analyses presented is a possible scientific justification for the adopted hierarchy of decision variants.
