Abstract

The development of e-commerce necessitates websites that are usable and accessible for all. The aim of the study was to evaluate the usability and accessibility of six e-commerce platforms (desktop and mobile versions) using eye tracking and the SUS questionnaire with 15 participants. Automated accessibility assessments, while useful, did not consistently correlate with users' subjective opinions. Eye-tracking data confirmed a strong relationship between interface elements and usability. Statistical analysis confirmed the hypothesis regarding a consistent user experience across all versions. Although automated tools provided valuable technical data, they did not fully reflect actual user behavior.
