Dzieci w mieście – wyzwania i potrzeby dziecka jako użytkownika przestrzeni publicznej

The first part of the paper presents the results of surveys conducted among students of Architecture, Technical University of Lublin, showing which terms must meet the space to become the ideal playground for children and young adolescents. The conclusions call into question the design solutions used widely implemented in Poland places of entertainment and recreation for children. This is not a playground space is mentioned by most people as a place of great fun childhood. Unlimited imagination of children causes that every public space can become a place of fun. This imposes an obligation on the designer a broader look at the possibility of using the public space for the youngest users.
