Abstract
The paper presents methods of protecting trees in the city. Based on a case study of a multi-family housing complex in Lublin in the former military area at Kraśnicka Avenue in Lublin, constructional and design methods how to protect the valuable, existing trees in the context of the investment project in maximizing the usable area are described.
