Abstract
A new approach to the identification and modelling of the working cycle of a heat pump compressor is proposed. A mathematical model of the heat exchange process in the compressor circuit is constructed, taking into account the change in temperature and pressure of the compression chambers. The presented mathematical model is based on the material and energy balance equations of the heat pump working fluid. Transient characteristics are determined and their investigation is conducted.
