Place of memory in the resource of cultural heritage of technology

The author considers the issues of the place of memory or remembrance which embraces all the cultural heritage assets, regardless of their condition, under with the proviso that their narrative interpreting based on a value assessment was provided to the public, and that the their presentation scenario was implemented in practice of sightseeing. Narrative interpretation is a kind of social communication, so the relationship between the interpreter and the recipient should be interactive, as this determines the cognitive effectiveness. The five case studies of technological concern present the issues of social identity and discuss an ethical context. Definitions related to the place of memory notion are given.
